Between 18 and 27 July 2025, we delivered a 5-day, end-to-end Siemens PLC, HMI & SCADA programme in Johor Bahru for a Personal Sponsor participant—a QAQC & Commissioning Manager with a detail-oriented, standards-driven, hands-on approach in manufacturing and high-tech industrial projects. Using TIA Portal V18 with S7-1200/1500 hardware and a KTP400 HMI, the course progressed from fundamentals to advanced applications, including SCADA integration and Sinamics G120 drive control.
Outcomes achieved: correct hardware selection and wiring; PLC, HMI and network configuration; WinCC screen design and data tagging; G120 parameterisation and commissioning; safe start-up and speed control; structured backup/restore workflows; online diagnostics and troubleshooting; and a capstone hands-on project.
