Privacy Policy – PLC Wiring Simulator

This Privacy Policy explains what information the PLC Wiring Simulator Android app (the "App") handles, and what it does not. The App is developed and published by AS Automation Services ("ASASMY", "we", "us" or "our"), a PLC, HMI and SCADA training centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. We have written this policy in plain English so that it is easy to understand.

In short: the App has no account, no sign-up and no ASASMY server. Your training progress stays on your own device. The only third party that receives data from the App is Google, for advertising (free version) and for Google Play purchases, as described below.

1. Who we are

2. No account, no login, no sign-up

The App does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, password or any other personal details inside the App.

3. Training progress stays on your device

We do not run our own server for this App. The following information is stored only on your own device and is never sent to ASASMY:

• Training progress: missions completed, scores, XP and level
• App settings and preferences
• Premium status (whether Premium has been unlocked on your device)
• Simple usage counters such as the number of launches, time spent in the App and screens opened

This information is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data in your Android settings. Because there is no cloud backup, we cannot restore your progress for you.

4. Advertising (free version only)

The free version of the App shows banner, interstitial and rewarded ads through Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and use information such as:

• Your device's Advertising ID
• Device and app information (for example device model, operating system version and app version)
• IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
• Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown, viewed or tapped

This information is collected by Google under Google's own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

• Consent: if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another place where the law requires it, the App asks for your consent through Google's consent form before showing personalised ads. You can change your choice later from inside the App.
• Content rating: ads are set to a family-safe (PG) content rating.
• Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).
• Premium users see no ads, and the App does not request ads for them.

5. In-app purchase (Premium)

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase made through Google Play Billing. The payment is handled entirely by Google. We never see or store your card number, bank details or any other payment details.

The App only checks with Google Play whether the Google account on your device owns Premium, so that Premium can be restored after you reinstall the App or change phones. 6. "Report a problem" support messages

If you tap "Report a problem" in the App, the App opens WhatsApp or your email app with a pre-filled message. The pre-filled message contains the App version, your device model and Android version, and the error message if there was one. Nothing is sent unless you press send yourself.

If you do send the message, we receive your WhatsApp number or email address together with the message. We use this information only to reply to you and to fix the problem you reported. We do not add you to any marketing list.

7. External links

The App contains links to our website (asasmy.com), WhatsApp, email and YouTube. When you open these links you leave the App, and those services have their own privacy policies which we do not control.

8. Permissions

The App only needs internet access, which is used for ads (free version) and for Google Play purchases. The App does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, files or storage, or precise location.

9. No sale or sharing of personal data

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with anyone except Google, as described in sections 4 (Google AdMob) and 5 (Google Play Billing) above.

The App does not use any analytics service (such as Firebase Analytics), crash-reporting service, push notifications, location tracking or cloud backup.

10. Children

The App is intended for trainees, students and engineers aged 18 and above. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data (for example a support message), please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Your progress data stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security. Data that goes to Google (ads and purchases) is sent over encrypted connections.

12. Deleting your data

• App data on your device: uninstall the App, or clear its data in Android settings (Settings → Apps → PLC Wiring Simulator → Storage → Clear data). This deletes all progress, settings and counters.
• Support messages you sent us: email [email protected] and we will delete the message and your contact details from our records.
• Data held by Google: manage your Advertising ID in Android settings and your purchase history in your Google Play account.

13. Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act 2010

We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). The only personal data we hold about App users is the support messages described in section 6. You may contact us at any time to access or correct that data, or to ask us to delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App gains new features. The new effective date and last-updated date will be shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
