1) Training Course Objectives:

This course will enable attendees to accomplish straightforward and common calculations associated with voltage, current, power and power factor. Examples of electrical applications, in industrial settings, will be covered. Electrical, equipment, components, devices and test instrumentation will be discussed. Important concepts in electrical safety will be introduced. This is a course on designing electrical systems used in industrial, commercial & residential installations.

3) Training Course Aims:

Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to:

• Different types of sensors and transmitters.

• Digital and Analog Devices.

• Describe the control principle in the Industrial Process System application.

• Perform the measurement for temperature, pressure, fluid flow and level.

• Practical use of FLUKE MULTI-METER METERS.

• Practical use of FLUKE PROCESS METERS.

• Practical use of CONVERTING CURRENT TO VOLTAGE SIGNALS – eg. 4 to 20MA to voltage.

• Calibration of incoming signals.

For Non Electrical Engineer is designed to any individuals, who are not intimately familiar with Electrical Engineering Principles and Practices. Through this course, delegates are expected to learn basic principles of electricity in a simple, easy to understand, format.

8) Trainer’s Introduction:

Mr. Sunderasen (TSoon) has more than 25 years of industry experience in PLC and HMI programming as a Project Engineer in Singapore. Trained in Australia as an Electrical and Instrument Engineer, he then got his formal PLC and Robotics Training from Ngee Ann Poly Singapore. Mr.TSoon has worked in an OEM company for machine fabrication as a programmer and has commissioned machines in Germany, Thailand, India, China, Philippines and Malaysia. Throughout his years of industry experience, he has undergone specialized training and massive exposure towards different PLC systems, i.e. Siemens (Siemens Singapore), Allen Bradley (Rockwell Singapore), Omron (Precision Singapore), Adept Robot (Adept Singapore), and GE Fanuc (TDS Singapore). He has also vast experience in Building Management System, integrating HVAC, Security, Fire Fighting System, Electrical and Utilities into one centralized monitoring station.
